Irish meetings

ADSHG
  • Meetings for Addison's Ireland members are held each year, usually in autumn. We try to rotate the meeting to a new location each year, so that everyone may have the opprtunity to travel a shorter distance to attend some years. Meetings are announced in the ADSHG members' newsletter and on the members' meeting calendar and in the online forum. Some ADSHG members from Northern Ireland have attended meetings in the past and are always most welcome.

Social meetings
In 2015 we decided to hold a local meeting instead of the big Dublin meeting to see if this format is preferred by members. The meeting took place in Limerick in October and it attracted 15 people. We will continue with this format in 2016 with a meeting in Dunshaughlin hosted by Paul, Sylvia and Aron. More details can be found in the members' meeting calendar. All Addison's Ireland members are welcome to attend. If you are not yet a member of our Group, you can join here.

Those members living in Northern Ireland are most welcome to attend any of the Irish meetings. Additional meetings and seminars are held in the UK for all ADSHG members and are also announced on the ADSHG members' meeting calendar. [members-only].

Medical conferences
The 2016 European Congress of Endocrinology was held 16–20 May in the fabulous convention centre overlooking the River Liffey in Dublin. Addison's Ireland staffed the ADSHG stand at the conference.
